Industrial Visit to Haier Appliances India Pvt. Ltd

Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj organised an industrial visit to Haier Appliances India Pvt. Ltd on  8th and 9th  October 2024 for its final year students. The primary focus was to understand Haier's manufacturing workflow for washing machines, including steps from initial molding to final assembly. Students observed advanced automation technology, such as robotics, enhancing precision and efficiency on the production line. The visit emphasized Haier’s quality control practices, including a "zero-defect" policy ensuring high product standards. Sustainability initiatives, like energy optimization and waste reduction, were highlighted, demonstrating Haier’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Overall, the visit provided valuable insights into modern manufacturing, automation, quality assurance, and eco-friendly practices.
