About Us
Established in 2003, JIMS, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, has emerged as one of the topmost institutes of GGSIPU in Delhi in just over a decade.

The Society
Jagannath Gupta Memorial Education Society was established in 1985. As a registered society dedicated to the cause of the dissemination of education in Delhi NCR, in particular, and the country, as a whole. Ever since its establishment, the Society has established two private universities – one at Jaipur, Rajasthan, and the other at Bahadurgarh, Haryana – and eight higher educational institutions in Delhi NCR, famous among the student community by the brand name of JIMS. Two of these higher educational institutions, one at Rohini, Delhi, and the other, at Kalkaji, New Delhi, run highly popular AICTE – approved Post Graduate Diploma Programmes, which have won industry approvals, NIRF Ranking and NBA accreditations. Since inception, the Society has been keenly conscious of its responsibilities towards innovations in curriculum design, pedagogy, and physical infrastructure to meet the changing manpower requirements of the industry. The society has been active in reaching out to the neighbourhood community too. To this end, it has undertaken a number of extension activities under the aegis of UBA, Rotary, Eco Club and UNGC.
In keeping with these overriding concerns, the society has been laying emphasis on grooming leaders who can be assets to both the industry and society. The close academia-industry interaction at JIMS manifests not only in constant reviews of performance but also in restructuring the academic curricula. Besides, the Community Outreach activities undertaken by JIMS Rotaract Club offer a window of opportunity for students to work as leaders and team members on various community welfare projects. What is more, all these activities are process-driven and in conformity with the highest standards of academic excellence.
