Intellectual Property Rights and IP Management for Startup

Institution’s Innovation Council in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology organized a workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Startup Acceleration” on April 10, 2024. Mr. Siddharth Sharma, Associate Partner – Patents at Rahul Chaudhry & Partners, served as the esteemed speaker for the workshop.

During the workshop, participants were introduced to the fundamental concepts of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) within the context of startup acceleration. They gained insights into the importance of IPR in idea generation, validation, and market analysis, essential aspects of the entrepreneurial journey. Additionally, the discussion highlighted the role of IPR in facilitating the development and scaling of startup ventures.

Furthermore, the workshop delved into the significance of design thinking in the realm of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), emphasizing its role in problem-solving and fostering innovation. Participants explored the distinction between critical thinking and design thinking through practical examples, understanding their respective contributions to entrepreneurial success within an IPR framework.
