SYMPOSIUM 7.0

Prabandhan, The Management Club of JIMS, Vasant Kunj organised The Annual Inter-College SYMPOSIUM 7.0 on 22nd March 2024.
This year, the event explored the theme of Sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals. It proposed a Framework for Inclusive Sustainability that prioritises the needs and voices of marginalised communities, ensuring that sustainability initiatives safeguards the future for all.
SYMPOSIUM 7.0 orchestrated two major events:
1. Research Paper Presentation: This event offered students a platform to display their research and expertise on sustainability topics through paper presentations.
2. Sustainability X Fashion (Best out of waste): The core of this competition centered on diverse creativity founded on sustainable principles. Contestants crafted a range of fashionable wearable items using sustainable materials.
With over 40 entries from students representing various universities, they performed exceptionally well. Participants came from colleges such as Christ University, Delhi Metropolitan Education, IITM, BPIT, GNIOT Institute of Management Studies, and others.
The winners of the event were:
Research Paper Presentation:-
Winner: Arushi Sahai and Saif Ali from Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology.
Runner-Up: Aryan Anand and Devyansh Shishodia from JIMS, Vasant Kunj.
Sustainability x Fashion:-
Winner: Shubhnavi Shivhare and Shikha Raj from Delhi Metropolitan Education University.
Runner-Up: Ishita swaika and Tejaswin Singh from JIMS, Vasant Kunj.
The event was a success thanks to the hard work and dedication of the core team, guided by the faculty coordinators at JIMS.
