The BAJMC course offered by GGSIP University is a three years degree programme and was renamed as Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BA JMC), a choice based credit system as per guidelines of UGC in 2016. The institute offers intake of 120 seats in Journalism and Mass Communication and the course is run in two shifts. The admissions are done through entrance exam conducted by GGSIPU. The course is aimed at inculcating journalistic skills within the students, while also helping them in proving their worth in the industry with the help of some top-notch industry-setting facilities like its own Community Radio Station, Print Journalism Lab, a Mass Communication Studio, Wi-Fi-enabled corridors, and classrooms with smart board facility to name a few. In addition to this, we at JIMS, are doing every bit we can to make learning for students effective and long-lasting.
The Journalism & Mass Communication program at JIMS is a perfect mixture of practical exposure and leadership, besides aiming at making the students familiar with the trends of the media industry.
