On 14th August, 2025, the NSS Club organized a Flag hoisting ceremony to mark the 79th Independence Day. The campus was decorated with balloons, tricolor flags, and a handmade photo booth, while an artistic rangoli at the entrance enhanced the patriotic spirit. The highlight of the event was the flag hoisting by the Director, Dr. Anuj Verma followed by the National anthem, which created an atmosphere of pride and respect.

The Department of Management Studies, organized a Faculty Development Program on “Innovative Analytical Tools & Methods for Multidisciplinary Research” from 21-25 July, 2025 to enhance faculty research skills through advanced analytical techniques. The program featured expert sessions by distinguished speakers: Dr. Anuja Shukla, Dr. Shikha Sharma, Dr. Vineeta Khemchandani, Dr. Jayanta Chakraborti and Dr. Vipin Khurana. The FDP provided valuable insights into modern research tools, promoting interdisciplinary learning and practical application in academic research and enriched the participants with practical knowledge applicable to their respective research domains.

JIMS Greater Noida: Faculty Development Programme on “Law, Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Society”
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP), held from 21st to 26th July 2025 was conducted in a hybrid mode, engaging over 120 participants, including faculty members and legal professionals. The programme focused on the evolving intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and law, featuring distinguished speakers like Prof. (Dr.) Preeti Saxena, Mr. Amit Nagar , Dr. Jelis Subhan, Advocate Subhash Bhutoria, Prof. Dr. Pallavi Gupta, HOD (Law), Dr. Nidhi Saxena, Dr. Mayank Shrivastava, Mr. Subhash Bhutoria , Adv. Mahir Gupta and Prof. (Dr.) Priya Sondhi. The valedictory address by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sinha highlighted AI’s impact on education, sustainable development, and the need for balanced, responsible use of AI as an assistive tool. On 23rd & 30th July, 2025, Guest Lecture led by Mr. Gagan Singh was conducted to offer the PGDM students a realistic and strategic roadmap to building a strong, purpose-driven career profile, with a special focus on the P.E.A.R.L.S., L.E.A.N., and V.I.C.T.O.R. frameworks. On 24th & 31st July, 2025, Linkedin Masterclass sessions were conducted by Mr. Devansh Gupta, Director – Industry Alliances and Partnerships, to enhance students’ industry readiness and digital presence. Both interactive sessions provided actionable strategies for boosting visibility and networking. In alignment, the “Junior Brand Ambassador Challenge” was launched to encourage students to share authentic stories, expand networks, and promote JIMS online, with rewards including showcasing top posts on the JIMS website and a grand prize.

JIMS Kalkaji: Outreach Activity on Financial Awareness
On 30th July, 2025, Prayaas, the NSS Club organized a community outreach activity at Hauz Khas Village. As part of this drive, volunteers distributed gullaks (piggy banks) to children in the area. This small initiative left a big impact on young minds and promoted financial awareness at the grassroots level. An interactive session was also conducted where children were encouraged to share their views and understand how small savings can lead to big changes.

On July 6th 2025, the members of CII YI YUVA participated in a rejuvenating session under the Health Vertical initiative at Shangri-La Hotel, New Delhi. On 21st July 2025, CII YI Yuva members actively participated in Future 5.0 Climate Action, an inter-college event organized by the Yuva Society of RDIAS college, Rohini. On 6th August 2025, NSS volunteers joined hands with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to conduct a cleanliness drive in and around the campus. Our nation’s Independence Day is celebrated on 15th Aug every year with great enthusiasm Independence day event is organized in Colleges, Schools and also in residential colonies apart from in most of the Govt establishments. Independence Day is the most important national festival for all of us. National flags of different sizes are used abundantly to symbolize allegiance to the country. Over a period of time, the celebration has changed emphasis from nationalism to a broader celebration of all things. It's a momentous occasion filled with patriotic fervor, All Citizens come together to remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters and reaffirm their commitment to a united, progressive, and inclusive India. We don’t have to forget that we enjoy the priceless gift of independence and sovereignty because of their unceasing labor, sacrifice and love for the nation of our visionary leaders and freedom fighters. While we celebrate our independence, we must be aware of the difficulties and challenges that still lie ahead. We must work to end social inequities, poverty, and illiteracy. Let's join to fight communalism, corruption, and any other forces that jeopardize the peace in our country. As accountable citizens, let us promise to do everything in our power to advance and build our cherished nation. The Departments of AIML, AIDS, and CST organized an External mentoring session on “Working with RAG” on 26 Aug 2025. JIMS Greater Noida: Independence Day Celebration
As part of our patriotic fervour and commitment to celebrating the essence of our nation, the Navras- the cultural society of JIMS Greater Noida organized a vibrant Independence Day Celebration on 14th August 2025, in the college campus, to remember and pay tributes to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence, to instill the students and citizens with a deep sense of patriotism and national pride, to uphold and promote the values of freedom, unity, equality, and democracy, to encourage active contribution towards the progress and development of the nation and to celebrate India’s unity in diversity and strengthen the spirit of togetherness. The highlights of the event included Flag hoisting, followed by National anthem along with cultural events showcasing diverse traditions of India through dance, music, and drama. The students were also engaged with questions related to general knowledge, aptitude and reasoning to sharpen their analytical skills.

On the eve of Independence Day, the campus was filled with patriotic spirit as students and faculty gathered to celebrate the spirit of freedom. The celebration began with a flag hoisting ceremony led by Dr. Satish Kumar Dogra, Campus Director, along with faculty members and students, followed by the National Anthem. Students participated enthusiastically in a Poster Making Competition, creatively expressing themes of patriotism and freedom. A Tri-Color No Flame Cooking Competition also showcased students’ culinary creativity through innovative, fireless, tricolor-themed dishes.

On 2nd August, 2025, a Guest Lecture on 'Placement Mastery using AI' was organized for the students. The speaker for the session was Mr. Gagan Singh, Corporate Strategist, CXO Coach & Board Advisor, and Project Investment Analyst. The lecture focused on guiding students in leveraging artificial intelligence for interview preparation, resume building, and enhancing placement readiness. Practical strategies and case-based discussions were included to help students understand AI’s growing role in recruitment processes.

On 2nd August, 2025, the Management Development Programme (MDP) on 'Influencing with Impact' was conducted for the officials of ICCS Noida. On 12th August, 2025, the NSS Club celebrated the eve of Independence Day by organizing an enthusiastic cycle rally & monument visit starting from Connaught Place, New Delhi. During the rally, national flags were distributed to the public, while volunteers displayed posters promoting Fit India. The initiative not only showcased the beauty of the city’s heritage but also inspired people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and remain connected to the nation’s cultural roots.

JIMS Kalkaji: Flag Hoisting at Red Fort
On 15th August, 2025, the students had the privilege of participating in the 79th Independence Day celebrations at the historic Red Fort. The volunteers actively contributed to the smooth execution of the event in coordination with the Delhi Police and the Ministry of Defense for which they underwent a rigorous 10-day training program under the guidance of NSSRD officials, where they were trained in event management, crowd control, protocol handling, and understanding the legacy of the Red Fort.

JIMS VK II: Workshop on Career and Goal Setting
The BBA department organized a workshop on 29th August 2025, titled “Career and Goal Setting” for first year students, conducted by guest speaker Mr. Gurjeet Singh, a renowned motivational speaker. Mr. Singh actively engaged the students through interactive sessions such as a partner-based SWOT analysis, which enabled them to identify personal strengths and weaknesses relevant to their career paths. Another highlight was a business simulation exercise involving the creation of identical cards, which taught key managerial skills like decision-making, teamwork, cost control, and profit maximization. Emphasizing the importance of analytical thinking, time management, and overcoming fear, Mr. Singh illustrated how setting clear goals early on can significantly influence long-term professional success.

JIMS VK II: Make a Meme Competition
The Business Talks Club of BBA organized a “Make a Meme Competition” for the students of BBA 3rd and 5th Semesters on 30th August, 2025. The competition aimed to provide a creative platform where students could express their ideas, humor, and perspectives on business strategies through memes. A total of six teams participated, each bringing fresh perspectives and creativity to the table. The team of Varun Mathur and Veer secured the Ist position, followed by Saumya Batra, Kratika Purohit, and Palak Bhandari in the IInd place. The IIIrd position was awarded to Rama Gupta and Bobby Kumar.

JIMS VK II: BBA Internship at CNS Machinery, China
Sarthak Pandey, a final-year BBA student, completed an internship at CNS Machinery (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd., China. He worked in the marketing area as an Operations Advisor, coordinating with the Indian partner and clients across the Middle East, South America, and Australia. Sarthak promoted cranes, led client interactions, and gained hands-on experience in international B2B marketing and global industrial operations.
