The students received a great deal of knowledge on how the polishing of tiles and coloring of tiles are done. They also got to know about the different kinds of design made on the surface of raw glaze and how the raw tiles' rough surface is converted into smoother ones.

Dear Student,
Happiness is a virtue that truly comes from within. Happiness is an internal state of feeling that is independent of the external factors. One can be happy without having everything. On the other hand the rich people may not be completely happy in spite of having all the things. Most people make the mistake of looking for external factors to remain happy, they try to change everything around them in order to feel happy but in the end they may find that they are still feeling the same. Only changing or accepting the real causes of unhappiness can make you become happy. Going for small temporary changes like going for a Holiday Trip or buying a new car will have a temporary effect. It is important to search happiness within ourselves. “Internal sources of happiness” start with small things. Living life in an appreciative and humble way, while moving away from seeking external acceptance and from pursuing prestige, will lead to more “internal sources of happiness”. Life is inherently uncertain, and it’s up to us to choose the right things. It is important to agree with this and to let go off our fears. Absence of worry becomes a nurturing force which allows us to be creative. If we accept a life full of uncertainty, fewer worries, creativity, humility and emotional rollercoasters, then our path may become full of joy and meaning.
During the festive season in our country all people - rich and poor take part in various kinds of events on account of various festivals at homes and outside, bringing happiness to one and all. All these festivals refresh us.

The visit started with a video presentation wherein the students learnt about the journey of Mother Dairy followed by witnessing the process of adulteration, filtration and other processes done by the plant to turn it into consumable milk. Cultural Club, JIMS Kalkaji celebrated Teacher’s Day and conducted badge ceremony on 5th September 2023. The event commenced with lamp lighting ceremony followed by various games. The event concluded with cake-cutting ceremony.

JIMS Kalkaji organized TEDx Talk on the theme, ‘Mindset Change and Transformation for Success’ on 6th September 2023. The speakers for the event were Dr. Amit Gupta Chairman, JIMS Group of Institutions; Mr. Ankit Jhamb, Author & Chief Learning Officer, Grant Thornton Bharat; Mr. Soheb Tahir, Learning and Development Lead, Bain & Company, Life Coach-Master Practitioner NLP and Ms. Monica Singhal, Life Coach-Hari Om Smiles. The speakers focussed on different spheres of life and how the mindset that we carry and the willingness to get through obstacles is all we need to be successful in life.
