The Department of Management, JIMS, Vasant Kunj, organized an Industrial Visit to Britannia Industries Ltd (Bread Division) for the students of BBA 5th Semester students. Britannia is a brand which many generations of Indians have grown up with and is cherished and loved in India and the world over. Keeping that in mind and to provide practical learning exposure to students of BBA program (Vth semester), industrial visit was organized. For management students it is of utmost importance to learn how the industries functions and to get a feel of the working environment of manufacturing units. With a warm welcome from the management, students were briefed about productions and operation automation, from dough making mixing to slicing of the bread loaf, to quality checks and sanitization all operations were explained holistically.’ Britannia, one of the biggest brands of the country has a market share of 33%.
